Payment Policy:

Pet Proofing:
It is the pet owner’s sole responsibility to pet proof any areas of the home or property which the pets have access to. Inspect gates, fences and other devices that contain your pets.
Courtesy and Cancellation Policy:
Lake James Pet Nanny realizes things do come up and schedules do change and life happens. However if you decide to cancel your reservation it is very unlikely that your Pet Nanny will not be able to fill your time slot that was saved specially for you and your fur babies. Lake James Pet Nanny ensures that your fur babies receive the best individual love and care.
There are limited time slots available for your pets, so please be courteous and remember the pet nanny also has pets of her own she needs to tend to. She has to make sure all of the fur babies in her life are well taken care of - yours and her own. Your pets will receive supreme one on one attention.

If you cancel 2 weeks prior to your reservation there is no cancellation fee.
If you cancel the week of your reservation and your visits haven’t started there will be a 50% cancellation fee
If you cancel less than a week of or after the Pet sitter started the job or the day of service, you will be charged the 100% price of the services that was saved for you. The time slot that was saved for you will not be able to be filled and the pet nanny could of filled the reservation.

Important Key Policy:
The client is responsible for picking up any keys given to Lake James Pet Nanny due to any cancellation on their part at any time. If you would like the pet nanny to return your key there is a $10 fuel surcharge fee to be paid at drop off.
Payment must be paid in full 10 days prior to your reservation / or paid in full at the time of the meet and greet to hold your reservation with Lake James Pet Nanny.
Lake James Pet Nanny will credit your account if a reservation has been canceled in the appropriate time frame . There are no cash refunds.

Inclement Weather Policy:
During inclement weather, if your walks or visits are not essential or you are changing your plans to stay home, please let us know so we can make arrangements. If you are out of town and have an alternative caregiver close by. Please make arrangements to have them on-call to care for your pets. Please include the emergency contact's phone number.

Due to inclement weather, if it is not safe to travel to your home, Lake James Pet Nanny will contact your alternative caregiver to begin caring your pets.

When this happens, we will send you a text.

If you do not have an emergency contact, please work with your pet nanny to come up with a special plan.

If this occurs during your reservation, Lake James Pet Nanny will keep 20% of the given quote from the beginning of reservation. The 20% goes towards the pet nanny making new arrangements for your pets while you are away and making sure everything is clean for your arrival.

Please have your driveway plowed or at least a clear shoveled pathway leading to the door that Pet Sitter goes through. Due to The Pet Sitter safety. If the Pet Sitter has to shovel a pathway that will be an additional cost up to the Pet Sitter at the time payment is due.
